A wax carving workshop is a hands on jewelry making experience where you design and carve your own ring in wax. Your wax model is then professionally cast into sterling silver or your chosen metal to create a finished piece.

No experience is required. Our workshops are beginner friendly and designed for all skill levels, with guidance provided throughout the process.

Workshops are monthly scheduled events. The workshops are hosted by an instructor and you will go through each step together as a group. This option provides the most direction and guidance. Perfect option for celebrations or special occasions.

The DIY is a self directed experience with the flexibility to be done at any time. We ask that you come in at least 3 hours before closing to allow yourself enough time to complete your creation. If you require more time, you are free to come back within 14 days to complete it.

At the end of the workshop you will entrust us with your wax ring. We will cast your ring and transform your wax creation into sterling silver or gold. The finished piece will be professionally polished and cleaned.

Your completed ring will be ready for pickup in approximately 4 weeks for our workshops and 4-6 weeks for our DIY workshop creations. We will email or text you to let you know your ring is ready for pickup.

Your ring can be cast in sterling silver 925 or upgraded to other precious metals such as gold (10l/14k/18k) or platinum. Additional finishes and customizations are also available.

Yes. You can upgrade your ring with engraving, stone setting, fingerprint details, or precious metal options to create a more personalized piece.

Gems can be sources for your ring or you can bring in your own. Talk to a staff for more details.

Guided workshops are scheduled for a set time (approx. 3 hours), while DIY sessions offer more flexibility and can be completed over multiple visits within a set timeframe.

Yes. We provide access to all required tools and materials, so you can focus on designing and creating your ring.

We understand that life can busy and unpredictable.

Your reservation can be transferred to another individual. If you need to reschedule, we ask that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance for workshops and 6 hours for IN-CAFE sessions.

Any cancellations or rescheduling less than the hours specified above will be subject to a fee. Our workshops are final sale but your credit does not expire and can be transferred to someone else or into store credit.

Wax carving is a delicate process and breakage can happen.

Our team will help you repair or adjust your wax ring or design so you can continue creating.

YES. Sometime our vision doesn't turn out exactly as we imagined.

That is okay! If you want to start fresh, you can purchase a new wax blank for $10-$15 and start again. You can repeat this process as many times as you like within 14 days. Once you have a creation you like, we can cast that into sterling silver.

16 & UNDER: Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire session.

16 to 18: A parent or guardian must accompany you to the check-in to provide consent for your participation. They are not required to stay during the session but are welcomed to if they would like to stay.

Yes. Wax carving workshops can be booked for private events, group experiences, and special occasions in Calgary or as part of a custom event package.
